In their very first tournament entered, having played only 4 games together, the Peter Harrison coached KCFC Dragons won 2-0 in the finals over the previously unbeaten Bayern Munich Pumas.
The Dragons actually had to score big in the semifinal game to get into the finals, and came up with a late scoring binge, scoring 3 goals in the last 5 minutes of the game to win 4-1 and assure themselves of a spot in the finals.
The Dragons recently finished their first indoor league at All American Indoor Sports where they finished in 3rd place with a 5-3 record, winning their last two games, including a playoff, by a total score of 7-0. The playoff game featured a hat-trick by Jeanne O and a superb shutout by Peyton M. The entire Dragons team showed tremendous improvement at the end of the season.
The Dragons are scheduled to participate in the Winter #2 league at the Overland Park Soccer Complex, beginning on January 17th.
